Our Services

We offer individual therapy for adults, adolescents, parents or parents to be using a warm, holistic approach that integrates mind, body, and emotional wellbeing.

Drawing on evidence-based methods like psychodynamic therapy, CBT, mindfulness, and somatic work, I tailor each session to your unique needs. Sessions are available in-person or via secure telehealth, offering flexibility and comfort wherever you are.

Perinatal and Postnatal Support

Gentle, non-judgmental support for those navigating the emotional highs and lows of pregnancy, early parenthood, and identity shifts. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, or feeling lost in this new chapter — you don’t have to do it alone.

  • As a mum of two, I understand that no two paths to parenthood are the same.

My approach is rooted in empathy, respect, and personalised care. I work alongside you — and your care team, if appropriate — to support your unique needs, helping you build resilience, manage stress, and care for your emotional wellbeing.

Through therapy, I aim to gently strengthen your capacity to move through the challenges, questions, and changes that come with becoming (or trying to become) a parent.

Whether you’re navigating pre- or postnatal anxiety and depression, processing a miscarriage, or facing the emotional complexities of IVF — please know you don’t have to go through it alone.

Together, we’ll create space for you to feel supported, steady, and seen

Adolescents

Support for young people who are struggling with school, friendships, family, or emotions they can’t yet explain. Sessions are a safe space to express, explore, and grow — without pressure, judgment, or expectation.

  • Adolescence is a transformative period filled with unique challenges and opportunities for growth.

At Discover Me, I recognise the importance of providing a supportive and understanding environment for adolescents as they navigate this critical phase of life.

My goal is to empower teens to make healthy choices, build self-confidence, and develop the skills they need to thrive in today's complex world.

When treating young people, I aim to work together with families, schools, and wider systems (if necessary), to better support young people in the challenges they are facing.

I understand that each teenager's journey is unique, and I tailor the therapeutic interventions to meet their individual needs, addressing a wide range of concerns, including:

    • Anxiety - Fears, Phobias, OCD

    • Depression

    • Self Harm and Suicidal Ideation

    • Adjustment Difficulties

Adults

Whether you’re managing anxiety, burnout, life transitions, or simply feel disconnected from yourself — therapy can help you come home to who you are. We’ll work together at your pace, in a space that feels safe and grounded.

  • Life can be beautiful, messy, and uncertain — sometimes all at once.

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, burnout, relationship challenges, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, therapy offers a gentle space to explore, reflect, and grow.

My approach is holistic and relational. I draw on psychodynamic therapy, attachment theory, somatic work, and mindfulness — always tailoring the process to meet you where you are.

    Together, we might:

    • Explore past experiences and how they shape your present

    • Uncover emotional patterns that may be keeping you stuck

    • Work with the nervous system and body to process more than just words

    • Build emotional resilience and practical tools for self-regulation

    • Reconnect with the parts of you that feel most true

If you’re facing something — anything — that feels heavy, confusing, or hard to name, you don’t have to hold it alone.

Therapy is not just about managing symptoms — it’s about coming home to yourself, feeling more at ease in your body, and navigating life with greater clarity and self-compassion.

A Holistic Therapeutic Approach

At Discover Me Psychology, I offer a range of evidence-based services to support individuals. I work collaboratively with clients and their families to develop personalised treatment plans that are tailored to their unique needs and goals. Just as each of us is unique, so too is your therapy. As a result, the specific approach I adopt will depend on your requirements. Often, a few different techniques are used to explore your situation as therapy unfolds.

I create an authentic space for my clients to feel safe enough to share their stories and utilise interventions that are based in attachment theory, somatic therapy and the neurobiology of behaviour and trauma. My interventions are largely grounded in psychodynamic therapy with formulations and drawing upon family and systems therapy, CBT, solution focused therapy, existentialism, somatic therapy and mindfulness techniques with an important element to focus on the body and tune in to what you may be experiencing.

Introducing what is happening in your body in sessions can reconnect us with experiences that shape our ongoing experience of life and the patterns that while are often useful in life and serve to protect us, but we also acknowledge that they often keep us stuck.
